Grape: 100% Grenache

Winemaking Notes:
This Grenache Rosé is made from vineyards nestled in the Citrusdal Mountains, some 50 km from the well-known Swartland wine region. This area provides the perfect natural environment for vineyards to thrive. At 750 meters above sea level, the plateau’s climate is characterised by warm days and cool evenings, which allow grapes to slowly ripen and develop complex fruit flavors. Grapes were handpicked very early in the morning allowing the grapes to retain their fruitiness and flavour. After arrival at the cellar the whole bunches were hand selected before the crushed berries were transferred into a stainless-steel tank. After crushing the grapes underwent a three-hour skin contact in static drainers before being fermented under controlled conditions
