Journey’s End Vineyards is nestled among the dramatically beautiful Schapenberg hills in South Africa’s Stellenbosch winelands. Since they took over the vineyard almost 30 years ago, the Gabb family have been ethically and sustainably producing top quality wines to be enjoyed on all occasions.
Our vines are grown on 350-million-year-old decomposed granite soils, creating one of the most prestigious terroirs in South Africa. As well as fantastic views, the vineyards also benefit from the cooling and cleansing south-easterly wind, known locally as the ‘Cape Doctor’, which comes in from nearby False Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
Dynamic winemaker Michael Dawson uses progressive methods in the cellar and in the vineyards, including a minimal intervention philosophy, carbonic maceration and fermentation and ageing in amphorae and concrete eggs, adding a complex layer to classically elegant wines.

The name “Tales Range,” each wine in this collection may be accompanied by a story that enhances the drinking experience. These stories highlight the origins of the wine, the inspiration behind its creation, or anecdotes related to the vineyard and winemaking process.
The Tales Range includes a variety of wine styles, encompassing popular varietals like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines are crafted to offer a range of flavours and profiles, catering to diverse palates.
