Journey's End Vineyards purchased

Journey's End Vineyards is purchased and completely replanted. The initial vision was for it to become the 'Penfolds Grange' of the Kumala brand.

First wine released
First wine released

Journey's End releases it's first wine, Journey's End Chardonnay 2002 and it becomes the first wine ever to achieve 5 stars with John Platter's Wine Guide as a new release.

The Gabb family purchases the neighbouring Mount Rozier estate.

Journey's End Vineyards becomes only the second wine farm to convert to solar power in South Africa and also attains WIETA and HACCP certification.

Journey's End launches Identity Wines with augmented reality labels. In response to Covid-19, the Journey's End Foundation is launched to provide meals for the local community.
